Due to continuous growth a well-established manufacturer of electronic products is recruiting for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to assist in the development of new products.
You will be required to design and develop new products working closely with a small team to create exceptional designs for a world class music instrument manufacturer.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in electronics or similar qualification and an excellent knowledge about design of electronic circuits. You will also need to have at least 2-3 years' experience of working within an electronic design and be able to design circuits and layout designs using Altium software or similar. Candidates with experience with other PCB layout software will be considered but must be able to demonstrate their ability to design as part of the interview process.
The role will ideally suit someone with an interest in Audio engineering and an understanding of both through hole and surface mount technology. Knowledge of both analogue and digital signal processing is desirable for the role. Ability to play a guitar is highly desirable but not essential.
On a day to day basis you will be expected to work independently on set projects as well as work with the team a whole in developing new products.
o Working with electronics designs to create new products.
o Work with Altium or similar PCB layout software.
o Work to deadlines provided by manager.
o Work with team of engineers.
o Work within established ISO based design system
o Communicate with other department in an effective manner.
Ideally someone who has come from an audio background and plays the guitar as this is very helpful when reviewing the products quality.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm, with an hour for lunch on each day.
