This is a temp to perm Customer Service Advisor role working for an industry leader in equine nutrition and horse feed products. Working within a team to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
35 hours per week (1 hour for lunch)
Monday to Friday, working the following hours on a three-week rotation:
08:00AM - 4:00PM
09:00AM - 5:00PM
10:00AM - 6:00PM
Work as a team to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Ensure all orders are processed, along with any complaints and account issues.
Develop excellent working relationships with account base - be a real trusted point of contact.
The Working Day
Progress daily customer orders from input through to despatch
To produce and supply all relevant paperwork for despatch on a daily basis and book all transport as required.
Create opportunities to deliver additional sales, new lines, extra volume where appropriate.
Resolve delivery issues both short and long term through communication with customer, haulier and transport team.
Proactively identify areas where customer behaviour can be influenced to deliver efficient order fulfilment in a customer focussed environment
Proactive communication with customers and sales team to ensure campaign targets are met by influencing the placement of promotional orders in line with business expectations.
Ensure all paperwork is filed correctly to enable fast retrieval when required.
Reception duties - Switchboard.
Provide support for other areas of the operations team and wider business when required.
Holidays - 24 + Bank Hols
To be considered:
Ideally 2 years- experience in a customer service role
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
A genuine desire to help
Must have good computer skills in Word, Excel etc and be a team player
Experience in logistics would be ideal, this is not essential but must be willing to learn
This role will be working in the office (no work from home is offered for this position). Free car parking, kitchen area with microwave, fridge, kettle, tea/coffee machine in office, staff shop, use of vending machines, Annual leave is 28 days pre 12 weeks and 33 days post 12 weeks (when permanent).
